Basic Things to Remember:
Be casual
Be appropriate
Know who you are talking to and relate, but don't try to know a group that you don't.
Appreciate those who follow you, include them and keep them in mind when out and posting.
Voice:
A 20-year-old female. You are living an average life but see things extraordinary in the process. You are casual, fun-loving, educated, and personable. Make sure to get those who gave you a follow, attention in some way. This connection, whether through a direct message, caption, or something else, ultimately can show who you are and what BlueEyedSights is about. Be a person that you would want to follow.
Content Types:
It will mostly be on Instagram, through photos and captions. The tag name is @BlueEyedSights.
Primary Colors and Filters:
Since we do not have a logo, I try to keep the colors neutral. I do not care for super dark or very bright. Using filters is a part of Instagram. That being said, be reasonable. The natural beauty is what we wish to focus on. If you choose to use filters, use the following guidelines:
A. Make sure the authenticity is still here. Ex: If you are taking a picture of a beach, do not use filters which would lighten to ocean to make it look clear when it is not.
B. Stay away from lightening or darkening the photo. Do not use contrast, unless it seems necessary.
C. Keep the usage of filters to neutral, try to stay away from black&white and sepia, unless you believe it will significantly improve the beauty or appearance of the photo.
Grammar and Word Usage:
You are educated, do not let that go to waste. Please use the correct tense and the correct word. If you are unsure of a definition, look it up. Use periods, commas, and any other aspects of correct grammar. When using abbreviations, make sure they are widely known. Such as: LOL, bc, etc. Please stay away from multiple word abbreviations that no one will know.
